There are a number of COVID-19 vaccination opportunities in Douglas County this week.
*The Douglas County Tiger Team continues offering pop up vaccine clinics with Umpqua Valley Ambulance. The clinics are open to anyone age 18 and older. Pre-registration is not required. *Aviva Health is offering drive through vaccination services for patients and non-patients. They must be Douglas County residents, 12 years of age and older. The clinic is at 4221 Northeast Stephens Street, near Costco. Vaccinations are offered weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Vaccinations are also available on a limited basis at Aviva’s outlying clinics in Sutherlin, Glide, Myrtle Creek and in north county. Call 672-9596 to check on vaccine availability at those locations.
*Cow Creek Health and Wellness is offering free COVID-19 vaccines at its drive through clinic at 2360 Northeast Stephens Street. Its open weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Residents must be 18 years of age and older to be vaccinated.
Call the Douglas County COVID-19 Hotline at 464-6550 for more information about vaccines and to get questions answered. It is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 7 days a week.
