The Sutherlin City Council will hold an emergency meeting on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Only one item on the agenda. Councilors will vote on whether to approve the paving of West Duke Road from Park Hill Lane to Plat M Road. Deputy City Recorder Melanie Masterfield told News Radio 1240 KQEN that construction has been done on the road and it needs to be paved immediately before bad weather comes and asphalt is no longer made for the season.

The meeting will be held in Civic Auditorium with a limited number of councilors and staff present. It will be available to join via Zoom. Link information is posted with this story at www.541radio.com.
