1 MORE DEATH, 85 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 12 NEW PRESUMPTIVE

1 more person has died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, 85 more people have received new positive test results and 12 more are presumptive, as of Wednesday.

The Douglas County COVID-19 Update covered data reported Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Douglas Public Health Network has confirmed that the county’s 243rd COVID-19 related death was a 72-year old woman who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on October 15th and passed away on Monday. She was fully vaccinated.

The update said the total number of cases is now at 12,036. Of those, 11,676 are people that have received positive test results and 360 are presumptive. 34 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 19 locally and 15 outside the area, including 1 that has been transferred out of state. 1 COVID positive patient is in the Intensive Care Unit and 4 are in the Progressive Care Unit. 29 out of the 34 hospitalized patients are not fully vaccinated.
