MAN JAILED FOLLOWING REPORTED TRESPASS INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was jailed following a reported trespass incident on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 8:45 a.m. officers responded to Holiday Inn Express for a report of a man trespassing at the business. The suspect was identified as 45-year old Gabriel Baker. The man was uncooperative with officers. While they attempted to take Baker into custody, he allegedly resisted arrest and fought with officers.

The report said while being transported to Douglas County Corrections, the suspect allegedly broke a piece of plastic on the seat of the patrol vehicle. Baker was charged with resisting arrest, second-degree counts of criminal mischief and trespassing, and for a parole violation. He was detained without bail.
