A Roseburg woman was jailed on Wednesday, for a previous theft incident.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 9:00 a.m. loss prevention staff at Walmart on Northwest Stewart Parkway saw the 22-year old in the store and believed she was a suspect in a past theft. Officers arrived at the store and contacted the suspect, who denied any wrong doing. After further investigation, police determined the woman was the suspect from an incident in July when she allegedly pushed a shopping cart full of merchandise out an alarmed fire door.

The woman was jailed for second-degree theft and for a parole violation and was detained without bail
