Roseburg Police are seeking a man following an alleged assault early Sunday.

An RPD report said at about 12:30 a.m. officers responded to the incident in the 2600 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Officers spoke with several witnesses and established probable cause to arrest 26-year old Dustin Williams on the charge of assault in the second-degree.

The report said the suspect allegedly punched a male victim in the face, knocking him out, because he claimed the man had touched a female inappropriately. The victim was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center where it was determined that he had sustained a traumatic brain injury from the fight. The victim was transported to a Portland hospital.
