ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN IN ALLEGED HARASSMENT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police cited a man for an alleged harassment incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 a.m. officers responded to a business in the 300 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard regarding an employee being assaulted. An investigation revealed that the male suspect struck the victim in the face for seemingly no reason. The suspect said the man called him a name, so he slapped him.

The report said there was no evidence that anything had been said. The victim had redness on the entire left side of his face and a small cut inside his cheek.

The suspect was cited and released on charges of harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was trespassed from the property as well.
