A Washington state man was found in Roseburg, within two hours of his being reported missing by Oregon State Police, on Tuesday afternoon.

OSP had been looking for 51-year old Marco Currin of Olympia. The man’s abandoned sedan was found along Interstate 5 near Myrtle Creek on September 28th. It was towed after it was determined that its location made it a traffic hazard. Two days later it was learned that Currin had been reported missing by family in Newport Beach, California. OSP notified police in that city that the vehicle had been towed.

Thanks to assistance from the public, OSP received information that Currin might be at the Roseburg Rescue Mission. Lieutenant Steve Mitchell of the Roseburg Area Command of OSP told News Radio 1240 KQEN the man was found safe and sound. Mitchell said his family has been contacted.
