A Roseburg man was cited for careless driving after his vehicle rolled on West Harvard Avenue early Sunday morning.

A Roseburg Police report said at 1:30 a.m. the 23-year old was traveling east in the far- right lane near Elizabeth. The man claimed a small game animal darted in front of him and he swerved to avoid the collision. His tire caught the curb which resulted in the vehicle rolling over multiple times. The report said the driver consented to field sobriety tests which he performed well. The officer did not see any sign of impairment.

The man denied medical attention and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
