Crews on the Rough Patch Complex are making great progress removing logs and slash, with increased hauling activity on the 5850 and 4750 roads.

An update from Rocky Mountain Incident Management Blue Team said firefighters will continue to monitor fire behavior in uncontained areas and suppression tactics will be taken if needed. There is the potential for minor increase in fire activity.

Crews are working to remove fire weakened trees within the fire perimeter and along roadways that could become a safety hazard.

The Rough Patch containment is still 71 percent while containment on the Jack Fire remains 83 percent.
