Oregon State Police cited a man following a reckless driving accident.
An OSP report said Friday just before 5:00 p.m. a vehicle was northbound on Interstate Five in north Douglas County near the Anlauf, Loraine exit. The vehicle was allegedly going at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, spun multiple times and came to an uncontrolled rest facing eastbound and blocking the right lane.
The report said the driver showed multiple signs of impairment and was arrested for DUII. The vehicle sustained major structural damage and had to be towed from the scene. The driver was also cited for reckless endangering and reckless driving. He was released after being cited. The driver’s dog was taken to Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center.
