CDC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AWARDED GRANT

CCD Business Development Corporation has been awarded a Technical Assistance Grant for coastal small businesses from the Judith Ann Mogan Foundation.

A release said the grant will provide technical assistance to business owners or aspiring entrepreneurs in Douglas, Coos and Curry counties. The project will focus on assistance to businesses as they navigate the current COVID crisis through response and recovery. CCD will provide technical assistance in identifying resources for the businesses and will assist in completing funding applications, long and short-term strategic planning and financial literacy.

CCD is hoping to be able to provide technical assistance to a minimum of 20 small businesses, utilizing no more than $2,500 in funding to provide the necessary focused technical assistance that each client may require.

The release said the program definition of small business is any privately owned corporation, partnership, limited liability company, or sole proprietorship which has fewer than 50 employees and less than $1 million in annual revenue.
