A Coos Bay woman was cited for first-degree theft following an incident at Fred Meyer on Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard on Saturday night.

A Roseburg Police Department report said at 7:00 p.m. the 24-year old was contacted by loss prevention after she allegedly loaded a cart full of merchandise worth over $1,200 and walked out of the store without paying.

The suspect was cited and released on the scene.
