A White City man was jailed by Roseburg Police after an alleged menacing incident on Sunday night.

An RPD report said at about 10:30 p.m. 34-year old Jaime Salazar allegedly pulled a knife on a victim, and told a family member of the victim that he was going to gut him. The incident reportedly took place in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway.

Salazar got into his truck and drove away. He was later found by an Oregon State Police trooper on Interstate Five near the landfill exit. A black knife and multiple bags of marijuana were allegedly found.

Salazar was charged with menacing, unlawful possession of marijuana by a person age 21 and older, and for a probation violation. He was held without bail.
