An Air Quality Alert for eastern Douglas County is set to expire at 5:00 p.m. Friday.
Staff with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality said wildfires burning in the region combined with forecast conditions will cause air quality levels to fluctuate and could be at unhealthy levels.
The Alert includes areas near the Rough Patch and Devil’s Knob fire complexes.
