One driver was hurt in a three-vehicle wreck on Thursday.

A Roseburg Police report said just before 5:30 p.m. an 89-year old woman was driving west in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard when she braked suddenly and stopped in the right lane. The woman tried to turn into the parking lot of a business, which caused a second driver to almost rear-end the first vehicle. A third vehicle was behind the second vehicle and was unable to stop in time. That resulted in the third vehicle hitting the second vehicle, which then hit the first one.

The report said the second driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance. None of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene. No citations were issued.
