WOMAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGED MENACING INCIDENT

A Roseburg woman was jailed following an alleged menacing incident on Thursday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 9:50 a.m. 33-year old Roda Farah allegedly menaced UTrans customers inside a bus stop shelter in the 900 block of Northwest Garden Boulevard. The report said the 33-year old woman threatened multiple people with a small torch, then resisted arrest and tried to bite one of the arresting officers.

Charges included second-degree disorderly conduct, two counts of menacing, interfering with public transportation, resisting arrest, attempting to commit a crime and for other counts. Bail was set at $47,500.
