MAN JAILED FOLLOWING ALLEGED MENACING INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged menacing incident on Tuesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 9:00 p.m. officers responded to the 1500 block of Southeast Mill Street. The report said that during the disturbance a 47-year old man allegedly threatened to hit two victims in the head with a baseball bat, causing the pair to fear for their lives. The victims drove away from the home so that they could call dispatch.

The suspect was charged with two counts of menacing. Bail was set at $10,000.
