A Tiller woman sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash Sunday evening.

Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at around 6:00 p.m. dispatchers began receiving reports of the wreck involving entrapment in the 19000 block of Tiller Trail Highway near Days Creek. O’Dell said deputies along with fire and EMS responded to the crash.

Deputies discovered a sedan, which had rolled. The driver, 65-year old Ginger Gramberg and her 62-year old passenger Robert Butler, were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency crews. Gramberg was flown from the scene by REACH Aid Medical Services to Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield. She was listed in fair condition at last check by a hospital spokesperson. Butler received minor injuries and declined medical assistance.

O’Dell said the investigation is ongoing but speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors in the accident. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to call DCSO at 440-4471.
