The City of Roseburg is accepting applications from people interested in serving on the Library Commission.

Applicants must live within the Roseburg city limits or within the city’s Urban Growth Boundary.

The commission meets at 4:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. Serving in an advisory capacity, the group considers efficient, effective library operations, reviews current trends and library-related technology, develops plans and recommends long-range plans for library services, reviews terms and conditions for contracts and working relationships with private and public agencies, assists with annual reports, and advocates for the library budget, events and programs and more.

Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on August 13th. Applications can be downloaded at: www.cityofroseburg.org. They can also be obtained by emailing info@cityofroseburg.org, or picked up in person from the city’s administration office.
