COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,836, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 613 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 214,869. The new cases include:

*71 in Multnomah County

*63 in Lane County

*62 in Marion County

*58 each in Jackson and Washington counties

*43 in Linn County

*35 in Clackamas County

*28 in Douglas County

*25 in Josephine County

*23 in Deschutes County

*16 in Yamhill County

*15 in Klamath County

*11 in Union County

*10 in Benton County

*9 each in Columbia and Jefferson counties

*7 in Coos County

*6 in Lincoln County

*5 each in Clatsop, Morrow and Polk counties

*4 in Wasco County

*3 in Harney County

*2 in Tillamook County

*1 each in Baker, Hood River, Malheur and Sherman counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 46 to 66. 1 each lived in Yamhill and Tillamook counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 178, which is 9 more than on Thursday. There are 45 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which 6 more than on Thursday.

OHA reported that 5,968 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 3,054 were administered on Thursday. 2,914 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
