COVID-19 has claimed 7 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,817, as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 369 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 211,998. The new cases include:
*55 in Multnomah County
*33 in Washington County
*28 each in Jackson, Lane, Marion and Umatilla counties
*27 in Clackamas County
*19 in Deschutes County
*18 in Linn County
*15 in Polk County
*14 in Douglas County
*12 in Josephine County
*9 in Benton County
*8 each in Lincoln and Yamhill counties
*7 in Columbia County
*6 each in Crook and Klamath counties
*4 in Coos County
*3 each in Malheur and Union counties
*2 each in Clatsop, and Morrow counties
*1 each in Hood River, Lake and Tillamook counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 54 to 86. 2 lived in Washington County. 1 each lived in Clackamas, Josephine, Malheur, Sherman and Wasco counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 141, which is 4 more than on Thursday. There are 44 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 6 more than on Thursday.
OHA reported that 5,295 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 2,896 were administered on Thursday. 2,399 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
