COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,781, as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 209 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 209,035. The new cases include:
*22 each in Marion and Multnomah counties
*16 in Clackamas County
*15 in Linn County
*14 each in Douglas, Deschutes, Jackson and Washington counties
*13 in Lane County
*12 in Josephine County
*8 in Yamhill County
*7 each in Klamath and Polk counties
*6 in Umatilla County
*3 each in Clatsop and Hood River counties
*2 each in Benton, Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook and Wasco counties
*1 each in Baker, Coos, Curry, Gilliam, Harney, Jefferson, Malheur, Morrow and Union counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 77 and 92. 1 each lived in Lincoln, Marion and Yamhill counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 132, which is 2 fewer than on Thursday. There are 28 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Thursday.
OHA reported that 7,934 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 3,562 doses were administered on Thursday. 4,372 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
The Oregon Health Authority has discontinued providing updated COVID-19 data on weekends and holidays. Information will next be released on Tuesday.
