A juvenile was taken into custody for a weapon violation by Roseburg Police on Monday.

An RPD report said at about 10:00 p.m. the juvenile male was allegedly in possession of a stolen gun at a home on Northwest Keasey Street. His mother saw the weapon in his room and took it. The report said the juvenile allegedly threatened her with a butcher knife and he said he would get another gun and shoot her if she did not give him the gun back.

The juvenile was lodged in the Juvenile Detention Center.
