A Heat Advisory is in effect for central Douglas County through Wednesday evening at 11:00 p.m.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said temperatures should lower very gradually through the week, but increase again over the weekend. The high daytime temperatures combined with warm overnight lows will result in continued heat risk and heat related stress.
