Douglas Public Health Network, the Douglas County Board of Commissioners and Aviva Health are collaborating again to host the next drive through COVID-19 mass vaccination event this Saturday.

It will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

The Pfizer two-dose and the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccines will be administered at the event. All residents ages 12 and older are eligible to be vaccinated. Those age 12 to 14 will need a parent or guardian to accompany them and give written consent for the vaccine.

Residents who received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at a previous drive through clinic can get their second dose this Saturday.

Residents do not need to pre-register for the event. Those with questions can call 464-6500. Those who need help in Spanish can call 671-1355.
