COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state’s death to 2,753, as of Saturday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 289 new and confirmed cases of COVID-19m bringing the state total to 206,578. The new cases include:

*36 in Multnomah County

*34 in Marion County

*32 in Clackamas County

*22 in Linn County

*20 in Washington County

*16 in Deschutes County

*15 each in Douglas, Jackson and Lane counties

*13 in Josephine County

*12 in Polk County

*7 in Columbia County

*6 in Clatsop County

*5 each in Benton, Curry and Wasco counties

*4 each in Gilliam, Jefferson and Umatilla counties

*3 each in Lincoln and Union counties

*2 each in Crook, Grant, and Yamhill counties

*1 each in Baker, Harney, and Klamath counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 73 to 96. 1 each lived in Douglas, Lane and Polk counties

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 144, which is 6 fewer that on Friday. There are 31 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 6 fewer than on Friday.

OHA reported that 13,670 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 7,469 doses were administered on Friday. 6,201 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Friday.
