COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,676 as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 356 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 201,996. The new cases include:

*40 in Marion County

*33 in Jackson County

*32 each in Clackamas and Multnomah counties

*26 each in Lane and Umatilla counties

*25 in Washington County

*16 in Douglas County

*13 each in Deschutes and Jefferson counties

*12 in Linn County

*11 in Harney County

*10 in Polk County

*8 each in Benton, Klamath and Malheur counties

*7 each in Grant and Josephine counties

*5 each in Baker, and Crook counties

*4 each in Curry and Yamhill counties

*2 in Columbia, Hood River, Lincoln, and Union counties

*1 each in Lake, Wallowa and Wasco counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 53 to 54. 1 each lived in Douglas and Jackson counties

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 227, which is 11 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 65 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 fewer than on Tuesday.

OHA reported that 14,457 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 9,428 doses were administered on Tuesday. 5,029 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
