Roseburg set a new high temperature record for the date on Tuesday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury reached 99 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The previous record high for the date was 91 degrees, set in 1937.

Medford hit 102 degrees, which tied the previous record high for the date, set in 1924.

Roseburg could hit another record high for the date on Wednesday. The record is 92 degrees, set in 1937. Forecasters are expecting Roseburg to reach at least 91 degrees.
