COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,668, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 257 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, raising the state total to 201, 260. The new cases include:

*65 in Multnomah County

*30 in Marion County

*28 in Clackamas County

*26 in Washington County

*16 in Linn County

*15 in Deschutes County

*12 in Douglas County

*11 in Lane County

*10 in Yamhill County

*8 in Jefferson County

*7 in Jackson County

*6 each in Columbia and Klamath counties

*3 in Morrow County

*2 each in Benton, Coos, and Josephine counties

*1 each in Baker, Curry, Harney, Polk, Sherman, Tillamook and Union counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 44 to 57. Both lived in Marion County.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 250, which is 7 fewer than on Saturday. There are 60 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 4 more than on Saturday.

OHA reported that 17m982 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 8,104 doses were administered on Saturday. 9,878 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
