COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,666, as of Saturday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 376 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, raising the state total to 201,004. The new cases include:

*59 in Multnomah County

*43 in Marion County

*39 in Washington County

*38 in Clackamas County

*30 in Deschutes County

*28 in Lane County

*18 in Jackson County

*16 in Yamhill County

*13 each in Douglas and Umatilla counties

*11 each in Klamath and Linn counties

*6 each in Columbia, Harney and Jefferson counties

*5 in Polk County

*4 each in Benton, and Crook counties

*3 each in Coos, and Sherman counties

*2 each in Clatsop, Curry, and Malheur counties

*1 each in Hood River, and Lincoln counties

Oregon’s 2,666th death was a 79-year old man in Douglas County who tested positive on May 15th and died on Wednesday at Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 257, which is 3 fewer than on Friday. There are 56 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 fewer than on Friday.

OHA reported that 31,325 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 15,280 doses were administered on Friday. 16,045 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Friday.
