After a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19, Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center will host their annual “Paws for a Cause: Share the Love” fundraising event on Saturday August 21st.

Executive Director Megan Gram said a pancake breakfast will be held in the morning with a cocktail party that evening. Gram said tickets will go on sale on June 1st at 10:30 a.m. on the Saving Grace website.

Gram anticipates that tickets will sell out quickly due to last year’s hiatus. Tickets are limited due to social distancing requirements, but additional tickets may be able to be sold if social distancing requirements decrease over the summer.

Gram said the breakfast will include food, games and more with the evening event featuring a live auction, VIP shelter tours, appetizers and live music. Both events will focus on improvements made to the shelter and Saving Grace’s support of the community over the past year. Those not ready to attend an in-person event can still support the shelter by taking part in a virtual silent auction, which will be open for the entire week leading up to the event.
