COVID-19 has claimed 7 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,613, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 504 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 197,851. The new cases include:

*67 in Multnomah County

*57 in Clackamas County

*56 in Marion County

*50 in Washington County

*38 each Lane and Linn counties

*35 in Deschutes County

*31 in Klamath County

*23 each in Douglas and Umatilla counties

*19 in Jackson County

*10 each in Columbia, Jefferson and Yamhill counties

*7 in Coos County

*6 in Wasco County

*5 in Benton County

*4 each in Crook, Josephine and Polk counties

*2 each in Curry County

*1 each in Hood River, Lincoln, Malheur, Tillamook and Wheeler counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 70 to 91. 2 lived in Linn County. 1 each lived in Umatilla, Clackamas, Lane, Deschutes and Washington counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 285, which is 16 fewer than on Thursday. There are 78 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Thursday.

OHA reported that 48,028 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 28,686 doses were administered on Thursday. 19,342 were administered on previous days but were added into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
