COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,594, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 484 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 196,390. The new cases include:

*79 in Washington County

*76 in Multnomah County

*39 each in Jackson and Marion counties

*35 in Deschutes County

*29 each in Lane and Clackamas counties

*26 in Umatilla County

*25 in Linn County

*21 in Klamath County

*20 in Douglas County

*17 in Yamhill County

*6 in Coos County

*5 each in Jefferson and Polk counties

*4 each in Josephine, Curry and Grant counties

*3 in Harney County

*2 each in Malheur, Tillamook and Union counties

*1 each in Baker, Benton, Columbia, Lincoln and Wallowa counties

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 331, which is 11 fewer than on Monday. There are 79 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 fewer than on Monday.

OHA reported that 26,637 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 19,088 doses were administered on Monday. 7,549 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Monday.
