On Tuesday, Governor Kate Brown announced that Benton, Deschutes, Hood River, Lincoln and Washington counties are leading the state in vaccinating their residents to protect them against COVID-19 and are eligible to move to the Lower Risk level of the state’s risk level framework, as of this Friday.

Brown said as of Monday, all five counties have vaccinated over 65 percent of their residents age 16 and older with at least one dose. All five counties have also submitted equity plans to the Oregon Health Authority as well.

That display shows Oregon’s vaccine allocations only, and does not track federally-administered vaccine doses.

That dashboard shows 37.8 percent of Douglas County residents 16 and older as vaccinated.

County eligibility for Lower Risk based on vaccination rates will be announced weekly. County movements based on COVID-19 infection and positivity rates will continue to be announced every two weeks. The next risk level changes will be announced on May 25th and will take effect on May 28th.
