A Myrtle Creek man was jailed for 4th degree assault by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday.
A report said just after 7:30 p.m. the 30-year old and a victim got into a disturbance in the 200 block of Lee Lane. The victim claimed she decided she had to leave and the suspect grabbed her by the back of the head, slamming the victim’s nose onto the wooden arm of a couch, causing her face to bleed. The victim said the suspect had tried to drag her out of the house. The suspect denied that anything physical had taken place. He was held without bail.
