COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,585, as of Saturday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 751 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 195,179. The new cases include:

*158 in Multnomah County

*93 each in Deschutes and Washington counties

*92 in Clackamas County

*54 in Marion County

*40 in Klamath County

*39 in Jackson County

*36 in Lane County

24 in Linn County

*17 in Umatilla County

*11 each in Douglas and Yamhill counties

*10 in Josephine County

*9 each in Benton, Columbia and Jefferson counties

*7 each in Coos, Crook and Polk counties

*5 in Hood River County

*4 in Malheur County

*3 in Clatsop County

*2 each in Harney, Lincoln, Morrow, Union and Wasco counties

*1 each in Baker, Lake and Wallowa counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 42 to 80. 1 each lived in Coos, Hood River and Josephine counties

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 332, which is 5 fewer than on Friday. There are 75 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 fewer than on Friday.

OHA reported that 42,051 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 26,502 doses were administered on Friday. 15,549 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Friday.
