Two men were cited following an alleged assault incident on Thursday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 12:15 p.m. a man was knocked to the ground by two suspects in a parking lot in the 3000 block of Northwest Aviation Drive. The report said one of the suspects also kicked the victim in the head. The victim was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center for a concussion and was later released.

An investigation eventually revealed the identities of the two suspects. A 44-year old Roseburg man and a 19-year old man from Grants Pass were contacted several hours later. Both were cited for second-degree assault. The younger man was also cited assault in the fourth-degree.
