COVID-19 has claimed 14 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,572, as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 733 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 193,732. The new cases include:

*156 in Multnomah County

*84 in Washington County

*80 in Deschutes County

*60 in Marion County

*49 in Lane County

*40 in Jackson County

*35 each in Clackamas and Linn counties

*23 each in Klamath and Polk counties

*17 in Umatilla County

*16 in Crook County

*14 each in Douglas and Benton counties

*10 in Columbia County

*9 in Jefferson County

*7 in Yamhill County

*6 each in Clatsop and Lincoln counties

*5 in Baker County

*4 in Malheur County

*3 each in Morrow and Wasco counties

*2 in Tillamook County

*1 each in Harney, Lake, Hood River and Wallowa counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 54 to 90.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 351, which is 5 more than on Wednesday. There are 88 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is unchanged from Wednesday.

OHA reported that 30,037 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 18,733 doses were administered on Wednesday. 11,304 were administered on previous days but were added to the vaccine registry on Wednesday.
