COVID-19 has claimed 7 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,528, as of Saturday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 833 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 190,804. The new cases include:

*156 in Multnomah County

*115 in Deschutes County

*94 in Washington County

*92 in Clackamas County

*75 in Marion County

*55 in Lane County

*49 in Klamath County

*35 in Jackson County

*29 in Yamhill County

*26 in Linn County

*11 in Benton County

*10 in Columbia County

*9 in Umatilla County

*8 each in Crook and Polk counties

*7 each in Baker and Malheur counties

*6 in Josephine County

*5 each in Curry and Jefferson counties

*4 each in Clatsop, Douglas, Tillamook and Wasco counties

*3 in Lincoln County

*2 each in Hood River, Union and Wallowa counties

*1 each in Harney and Morrow counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 68 to 90. 3 lived in Multnomah County. 2 lived in Jackson County. 1 each lived in Marion and Lane counties.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients across Oregon is 329, which is 5 more than on Friday. There are 84 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 6 fewer than on Friday.

OHA reported that 63,868 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 27,835 doses were administered on Friday. 36,033 were administered on previous days but were added into the vaccine registry on Friday.
