A Roseburg man was cited for second-degree child neglect following an incident on Thursday night.

A Roseburg Police report said an officer responded to the lobby of Motel 6 on Northwest Aviation Drive at about 11:00 p.m. for a report that a juvenile female had been left alone in the lobby. The officer contacted the parents who retrieved the girl after they had left her alone for 20 minutes.

A 30-year old man was cited and then released following the incident.
