A Roseburg Police report said an SUV was stolen from a parking lot in the 1300 block of Southeast Stephens just after 1:00 p.m. A witness said a woman with light red hair wearing an olive-green shirt and shorts, drove away with the vehicle. The vehicle was stopped a short time later near Kelly’s Corner in Green.

Cheree Lyon was identified as the driver and taken into custody. The 33-year old was detained on $106,250 bail. Lyon was arrested only hours after being released from jail for a separate car theft incident the previous day.
