A Roseburg woman was jailed after an alleged trespass incident on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 9:00 a.m. 38-year old Desirea Chapman was said to be in the 500 block of Southeast Stephens in a location that she had been trespassed from. The woman left before police arrived but was found nearby hiding in a tent. The report said she took off running and was chased by the officer. After being caught, she tried to pull away and continue running. Chapman was detained without further incident.

Charges included resisting arrest, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree escape and for a parole violation. Chapman was detained without bail.
