Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in an alleged trespass and possible burglary incident on Tuesday.

A DCSO report said at about 6:15 a.m. a deputy responded to the 400 block of Pioneer Way in Winchester. A short time later, the deputy found 41-year old Mitchel Estrada on the property, which is posted in numerous places with no trespassing signs. The report said that house is in the process of a HUD foreclosure.

Estrada allegedly admitted he was at the property to try and take a wheel bearing off of a car. The report said the plywood had been ripped off the door of the residence, but had been in place the previous day. Estrada reportedly had a double-edged knife concealed on his person.

Charges included second degree counts of criminal trespass and criminal mischief, and for carrying a concealed weapon. Bail was set at $10,000.
