Third trimester tax payments are due into the Douglas County Tax Collection Office no later than May 17th.

A release said while the office is open to the public, residents who need additional help can also conduct business with the office via phone, e-mail, or online as well. Office hours are weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Payments can be made at drop boxes, in front of the Douglas County Courthouse and in the hallway outside the tax office. Payments should be made by cashier’s check, money order or personal check.  Property owners can also make payments online at www.co.douglas.or.us using a credit or debit card or an e-check. There is a transaction fee for paying online.
