A Wolf Creek woman was jailed after allegedly fleeing police on Friday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office just before 2:30 p.m. a deputy stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Creekside Road in Canyonville. 40-year old Juanita Dove reportedly fled from the passenger seat. She was located later in a nearby creek bed.

The deputy reportedly had probable cause to arrest the woman on charges including first degree forgery, identity theft, providing false information to police, being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon and for a warrant. Bail was set at $237,500.
