A Roseburg man was cited following a hit and run incident on Wednesday.
A Roseburg Police report said just after 10:40 a.m. an 83-year old woman was traveling southbound on Northeast Stephens and had a green light at Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard. Her vehicle was struck by a car driven by a 23-year old who was eastbound on Garden Valley turning northbound onto Northeast Stephens.
The second driver allegedly ran a red light, which caused the collision. That driver fled the scene but was contacted a few minutes later. Charges included failure to perform the duties of a driver, driving while suspended and driving uninsured. He was released after the citation was issued.
