A Myrtle Creek man was jailed for an alleged assault incident on Monday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 5:40 p.m. a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Arrow Way in south county. A 40-year old reportedly confronted another man in the kitchen, where he head-butted him and knocked him down.

The suspect was taken into custody and charged with fourth degree felony assault. Bail was set at $50,000.
