A Myrtle Creek man was jailed after the recreational vehicle he was driving hit a pole in front of a business on Sunday.
A report from Roseburg Police said at about 3:30 p.m. officers responded to the wreck at Big Lots in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens. The 45-year old driver performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. The man was charged with DUII and for reckless driving. He was held on $16,250 bail.
The older RV sustained serious damage and had to be towed away.
