MAN JAILED AFTER FIRE CAUSES BURN DAMAGE

A Roseburg man was jailed after a fire outside a Roseburg business.

A Roseburg Police report said on Tuesday a 67-year old man was camped out in front of the office in the 800 block of Southeast Douglas. He allegedly started the fire, which caused burn damage by the front doors. The suspect was contacted just after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Roseburg Police Department where he was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and for a warrant. Bail was set at $5,000.
